Carey Ott's music continues to make positive impressions among TV/Film music supervisors and marketing executives. On the heels of his latest music placement with AZJEANS.COM, (Sept 6th 2007 Press Release) we are pleased to announce that his songs, "Kicking Stones" [MP3] and "Shelf Life" [MP3] were chosen for the new UK produced Indie film,
"The Killing of John Lennon"

The U.S. release is scheduled at a date tba in January 2008.

The film was recently featured at the 15th Annual Raindance Film Festival. Honoring outstanding achievements of the filmmakers, "The Killing of John Lennon" was nominated for Best UK Feature amongst 5 finalist's.

It probably was inevitable that Ottawa natives and Nashville, Tenn., singer-songwriters Carey Ott and Chris Gelbuda would become friends.
"I used to play Little League in Ottawa with (Chris') big brother Billy," Ott said in an email interview. "I had heard about Chris, that he was writing songs, and then he came to Nashville and emailed me about writing sometime. I responded to his email and we've been writing buddies ever since. He's like a brother."
The writing partnership just went to another level, since Ott and Gelbuda have written a song...
